The Imam Sadr Foundation has committed itself to a journey of educating and supporting girls at a young age that continues beyond their school years. To ensure ongoing support and engagement, Female Graduates’ Associations have been established. These non-profit associations operate from the Cultural Compound of the Imam Sadr Foundation in Tyr and are active in several areas. They include the Female Graduates’ Association of the Nursing School, the Female Graduates’ Association of Accelerated Vocational Training and Social Activation, and the Female Graduates’ Association of Rihab Zahraa(as) School.

The kidnapping and disappearance of Imam Musa As-Sadr sparked a wave of reactions that manifested in acts of charity, in line with the Imam’s teachings that resonated with the people, enlightened by his thoughts and humanity. From the heart of this interactive movement, the Lebanese Women League was established by a group of women to follow in the footsteps of Imam As-Sadr and support the humanitarian projects he initiated. Consequently, this Foundation, a non-political and non-profit organization, was founded under registration number 206/1 D on August 25, 1983.
