Lokahi Foundation at the Sadr Foundation

A large group from the British Lokahi Foundation lead by Author, Speaker and Scholar, Professor Gwen Griffith-Dickson, visited Sadr Foundation in Tyre, on Thursday January 18, 2019. They were received by Mr. Nijad Charafeddine, General Director of the Sadr Foundation.
He stressed on the common values and meanings that unite the two institutions together, especially the importance of diversity and convergence in our contemporary life. “We have been inspired by these values since the Foundation was established by Imam Sadr more than half a century ago, and later re-enforced by Mrs. Rabab Sadr.
The meeting included a presentation of videos about the projects and achievements of the Sadr Foundation. There were extensive discussions about issues that were of interest to both parties, especially the participation of women in public life, environmental issues and sustainability. Mr. Mohammed Bassam participated in the discussion on the themes of development and empowerment. Many members of the delegation were able to express their admiration and happiness for their professionalism and commitment.
