Nurturing Young Minds
The Imam Sadr Foundation is committed to creating optimal working conditions for all its employees. A supportive and healthy work environment enhances motivation and dedication, which in turn positively impacts the target groups.
As part of its strategic plan, the Foundation prioritizes the well-being of its staff, with a special focus on women. Many of these women are mothers, and there was a clear need to provide care for their young children during working hours. In this context, the Foundation established an on-site daycare, which strengthens the working mothers’ roles as professionals and contributes to their ongoing empowerment.
Since the establishment of the daycare in 1994, there has been significant growth and development. Initially, the facility was a single room equipped to provide basic care and ensure the safety and natural development of children. Over the years, from 2009 to 2010, the daycare evolved to include age-specific groups, with the addition of suitable toys and activities designed to stimulate children’s abilities.
Between 2013 and 2014, the daycare underwent a comprehensive transformation. Structural improvements were made in collaboration with the educational team from the kindergarten department, which helped coordinate the activities. The staff received professional training to enhance their expertise in child care, and a tailored educational program was developed for each age group, based on courses with growth specialists. Simultaneously, the physical environment of the daycare was upgraded.
The daycare began accepting a limited number of children from outside the Foundation due to high demand from the local community. Today, it adheres to the latest child development curricula, fostering skills and abilities that prepare children for their transition to primary school.
