Inter-Religious Encounter at Imam Sadr Foundation

On May 5, 2019, Imam Sadr Foundation hosted a group of Nuns from the Emerging Sisters of Women’s Orders in Lebanon. The meeting focused on the concepts of humanity and brotherhood signed by the eminence of Sheikh Al-Azhar Al-Ahmed Al-Tayeb and Pope Francis on February 4, 2019.
Mrs. Rabab Sadr, the Chair of Imam Sadr Foundation, Sheikh Dr. Madrar al-Habal, the Sunni Mufti of Tyr, Sheikh Rabie Qubaisi, representative of the Muftis of Jabal Amel, and Sister Carol Jesus participated in this event. Mr. Nijad Charafeddine, the General Director of the Foundation, presented the foundation and spoke about the essence of convergence and the work of human dignity.
The meeting was concluded by distributing honorary shields to the lecturers by Sister Jamila Risha, coordinator of the nuns’ order.
